In the age of globalization, the U.S. is experiencing a rise in densely populated urban areas, along with a lack of land resources to provide insufficient public spaces in Downtown San Diego. The city is exploring how to address the pressures of expanding populations and urban growth on existing public spaces. It is always a big topic to have public and private spaces in urban areas. In conclusion, the project is a provocative look and a continued trend of urban migration has led to a shortage of public spaces, inspiring a wealth of innovative solutions for architecture.
