Cave Hotel
Introverted Space
For Civilized Ablutions and Submerged
The most provocative site choice would likely be mostly covered by the hillside, an extremely isolated space, where could be found. Cave Hotel is built in rural spots with the existing landscape, its construction occurs on the unused underground of topography. The initial idea was to create a quiet and introverted environment where people can engage in non-religious meditation while experiencing the changing of light and shadow. The concept of cave hotel which designed for couples or family, therefore, the concrete structure inside a built-in cave unit that contains a compact living room, a bedroom, a water pool, and an exterior spa place. Under the ground, rectangular unused space is allocated for various activities, while taking advantage of the variety of landscapes would have an environmental benefit. To explore the most innovative ideas for the micro-hotel through Château Camou winery, with additional functions, adds a couple of irregular sunroof structures with sunlightoriented at different angles of the sunroof. Internally the reinforced concrete structure is left exposed to create a cohesive and uniform space. The sense of living space inside the building is increased by connecting it with the exterior through the skylight. This is a reference to the dynamic construction landscape of Château Camou winery in Baja, Mexico.
