(Chih Wei Su)

I am Chih Wei, Su (Wayne), a professional designer with a Master's degree in Architecture (M. Arch.) from NewSchool of Architecture + Design (NSAD), and a Bachelor's degree in Urban Planning. As well as, over 9 years of proven experience in Architecture, Urban Planning Design, and Interior Architecture.

 

Creative, cooperative, and goal-oriented with a high level of aesthetic design production experience. Able to work well with other team members, maintain relationships while collaborating within the design process to create drawings according to specification and within the timelines. Ability to communicate with diverse customers and teams in professional English, native Mandarin, and native Taiwanese.

ARCHITECTURAL DESIGN

Utilized Rhino and SketchUp for schematic designs, and developed concepts, diagrams, and modeling. 

Used Revit and AutoCAD to produce construction documents for Development Permits (DP) and Building Permits (BP).

Presented rendering and graphics in Enscape, Lumion, V-Ray, Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign.

Assisting in creating Revit families and libraries.

URBAN DESIGN

Analyzed the opportunity of the site, and rezoned the neighborhoods. 

Worked on the master plan and modeling for the towns. 

Created regional & neighborhood maps for schematic community designs.

INTERIOR DESIGN

Used SketchUp, Lumion, and AutoCAD to produce digital models, rendering, floor plans, RCP, elevations, sections, and details.

Performed on-site visits to complete measurements and gather dimensions.
Created designs, developed concepts, and produced free-hand sketches and physical models.

Assisted in estimating the cost of projects and prepared detailed specifications.

Communicated with clients to assess their design requirements.
Assisted in supervising project construction and reported construction progress.
